H.I.D. Burger Review

Stands for “Healthy and Irresistibly Delicious  Burgers”

It was a hot Saturday afternoon when my husband and I were looking for a place to eat some snacks. I’ve always seen this new burger joint that just opened I think at the last quarter of 2015. HID Burger is just a fifteen minute drive away from our home but we haven’t really had a chance to try it out until this day. Their branch in Antipolo is located at a gasoline store along the highway so it’s really hard to miss. I always see this branch jam packed with people so I already got a hint that this burger joint is a must try.

H.I.D Antipolo is located at Hebron Gas Station, E. Rodriguez Ave., Provincial Road, Brgy. San Jose, Antipolo City.

I ordered the Bacon Mushroom Melt (Php 140.00) while my husband tried the Barbecue and Coleslaw (Php 130.00). The price of their burgers ranges from Php120 - Php 155. Aside from burgers, they also offer hotdogs, wings, chicken nuggets, fries and potato wedges.

Here's their latest menu.

Bacon Mushroom Melt - Php 140.00
Look at that cheese..uh-uhmm...The patty is super juicy and the melted cheese just completes it all.

Barbecue and Coleslaw - Php 130.00
This also tastes good, but I love the bacon mushroom melt better. Haha.

But wait...there's a catch here, All of their burgers are made from 100% chicken.
Yep, you read that right. And I have to tell you, they taste nothing like chicken. I can't even believe it myself that I had to ask the store manager if the burger patties were really 100% chicken, and she said yes. Haha!

Here's my rating:

Location: 5/5 - Located along the highway and its in the vicinity of a gasoline station so their not hard to find.
Ambiance: 4/5 - The place is quite small. The place can get pretty jam packed during peak hours, usually at night.
Food: 5/5 - The patties are juicy and tasty. Doesn't taste like chicken like what they claim to be. I felt like I was eating a regular beef patty burger.
Price: 4.5/5 - You should have a budget of at least Php200-250 for a full meal with burger, drinks and fries. But definitely its worth every penny. :)

I would definitely go back to this place and try the rest of their menus. For the foodies living in Upper Antipolo, go ahead and try them out! :)
